But the resulting lemonade will be strikingly different from all those produced by the industrial method, and, of course, for the better.

Step 1

Prepare syrup - the basis of lemonade. Peel the ginger root and wash. Finely chop and place in a bowl. Add sugar, water and bring to a boil. Boil over medium heat for 10 minutes. Strain through 2 layers of cheesecloth and let cool.

Step 2

Wash lemons and limes, cut into halves. Squeeze out the juice (manually or using a special device). Combine with ginger syrup and stir.

Step 3

Put ice in a jug. Pour in the lemonade. If desired, it can be diluted with good drinking water (with or without gas). Serve immediately as a refreshing drink.

ginger root - a piece 7 cm long
sugar - 200 g
drinking water - 325 ml
medium-sized lemons - 5 pcs.
lime - 1 pc.
edible ice - to taste
