Potato casserole with ham
Cooking
Step 1
Coarsely chop the ham. Rinse rosemary, dry, cut off the leaves and chop. Put the Parmesan in a saucepan, pour in the milk in a thin stream, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon, so that a homogeneous liquid mixture is obtained. Salt, pepper, add rosemary and a pinch of grated nutmeg, mix. Wash potatoes, peel and cut into thin slices. Butter cut into pieces. Grease a baking dish with part of the oil, put a layer of potatoes on the bottom, cover it with a little mixture of parmesan and milk, then put a part of the ham. Continue to spread in layers, alternating all the ingredients, finish with a layer of potatoes. Pour all the remaining milk with Parmesan, put pieces of butter on top. Cover with foil. Bake in the oven at 200ºC for about 30 minutes. For 10 min. until ready to remove the foil. Remove the finished casserole from the oven, cool slightly and serve as an independent dish.
