Step 1

Wash the fish thoroughly; make an incision along the abdomen and remove the insides. Place on a cutting board, back down, and use a sharp knife to remove the spine. Cut out the gills with scissors. Step 2

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Roll each fish in oatmeal. Fry for 4-5 minutes. on each side until golden brown.
