Creamy cake with candied oranges
Each hostess has her own preferences and tricks. I have homemade candied oranges. Their aroma gives Easter cake a unique taste that you and your loved ones will definitely like.
How to cook Creamy cake with candied oranges
Step 1

I'm preparing the steam. Warm up the milk a little so that it is slightly warm. Add yeast and 1 tablespoon of sugar to it. Add a glass of flour, mix. Cover with a towel and put in a warm place. The dough should double in size (this will take about 30 minutes).
Step 2

Beat 3 eggs with sugar, combine with dough, mix. Add vanilla seeds (or vanilla sugar).
Step 3

Soften the butter in a water bath. Add cream, stir. Do not heat up too much. Combine the cream with the dough, mix.
Step 4

Add flour and knead the dough. The dough must be well kneaded, it should not be steep.
Step 5

Add candied fruits to the dough. Cover the dough with a slightly damp towel, put in a warm place for 2-3 hours. I separate small pieces from the dough and tint with food coloring.
Step 6

Lightly oil the sides and bottom of the baking dish. Shape the dough into a ball and fill each shape 1/3 full. Let the dough rise for about 15 minutes.
Step 7

Preheat the stove to 100°C and place the molds in the oven, bake for 10 minutes. Then increase the temperature to 180 ° C, bake until tender for 25-40 minutes. Check for readiness by piercing with a toothpick, if it is dry, the cake is ready.
Step 8

Ready for frosting. Separate two proteins from the yolks. Beat the whites at low speed until the first foam, add a pinch of salt and beat until a stable pattern. Gradually add powdered sugar. We apply the icing on warm Easter cakes and decorate with berries and candied fruits. Enjoy your meal!
