How to cook Classic Strawberry Balsamic Vinegar Recipe

Step 1

Sort the strawberries, cut the stems.

It is advisable not to wash the berries, but simply wipe them with a damp cloth.

Pour the berries into a wide bowl. Sprinkle with sugar and leave in a cool place for 8 hours.

Step 4

Then place the strawberries and sugar over medium heat. Pour vinegar into the berries, bring to a boil and increase the heat to evaporate the liquid. Boil strawberries for 5 minutes.

Step 5

Constantly stir the resulting jam so that it does not burn, removing the foam.

Step 6

Arrange the jam in sterilized jars and twist if desired.
