Chicken chops in batter
Battered chicken chops can add a nice variety to your diet, especially if you often offer poultry dishes to loved ones. What do we usually cook? Well, fry chicken legs-wings-thighs. Or bake the whole carcass. Or stew fillet pieces in a creamy sauce. But chicken chops in batter are a completely different story! They look incredibly appetizing and taste amazingly good. That's why chicken chops will appeal to both adults and children - even those who can be difficult to convince to "eat another bite."
How to cook Chicken chops in batter
Step 1
Prepare the chicken fillet. Rinse with running water and dry well with paper towels. Cut into slices and beat lightly with the flat side of a large knife.
Step 2
Salt the chicken fillet prepared in this way, pepper and sprinkle with spices for poultry. Cover with cling film and leave in a cool place for 20-30 minutes.
Step 3
Prepare batter for chicken chops. Lightly beat the egg with a whisk. Dilute flour 4 tbsp. l. cold milk, stirring constantly. Then pour in the rest. Mix and strain through a fine sieve.
Step 4
Combine the resulting milk mixture with the egg. Salt and pepper a little. Whisk it all together. You can add dried herbs, turmeric, or curry powder.
Step 5
Heat vegetable oil in a large frying pan. Dip the chicken fillet plates in batter and place in the pan. Fry on one side until a nice golden crust forms.
Step 6
Flip the chicken fillet in the batter. Fry on the other side until golden brown. Arrange the battered chicken fillet on serving plates and serve immediately. You can decorate with greenery.
