1. Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance so that it warms up to room temperature. Sift flour together with salt. Warm the milk slightly, pour into a bowl, add yeast, sugar and half the flour. To stir thoroughly. Cover the bowl with cling film, leave in a warm place for 1 hour. 2. Pour the remaining flour and cocoa into the risen dough, add softened butter and eggs. Knead the dough until it becomes smooth and elastic. 3. Cut candied fruits into small cubes, mix into the dough. Cover the bowl with cling film again and leave in a warm place for another 40 minutes. 4. Preheat the oven to 180ºС. Cover the baking sheet with a sheet of parchment greased with vegetable oil. Put the dough on a floured work surface, roll out into a layer 3 cm thick. Gently transfer to a baking sheet, let stand for 20 minutes. Put in the oven and bake for 35 minutes. Cut the finished cake into pieces. Serve warm. BTW The dough for these breads can also be made lean. Milk can be replaced with a glass of warm boiled water, vegetable oil can be used instead of butter, and eggs can be simply excluded. In this case, add 1.5 tsp to the dough. baking powder (baking powder). When it rises, punch it down and let it rise again.
