Banana Mama Pie
An original recipe for a pie made from shortcrust pastry, bananas and an airy cap of cream. You will definitely impress with such a dessert and at the same time, you will not spend a lot of time and effort. Banana is a traditional fruit for desserts. This is also due to its hypoallergenicity. Therefore, you can please both adults and children with such a pie. For the best result, we recommend using very ripe bananas.
How to cook Banana Mama Pie
Step 1

Grate the butter on a coarse grater. Place in a deep bowl.
Step 2

Separate the whites from the yolks. Place the whites in one bowl and the yolks in another.
Step 3

Add flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt to the butter. Mix until smooth. Add the yolks and knead the dough.
Step 4

Cut the bananas into 5 mm thick slices.
Step 5

Roll out the chilled dough and place it in a baking dish, forming the bottom and sides.
Step 6

Place bananas on the dough.
Step 7

Add sour cream on top and bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
Step 8

Meanwhile, prepare the protein cream. To do this, add powdered sugar to the whites, beat everything together with a mixer until smooth and fluffy.
Step 9

Remove the pie from the oven, spread the protein cream over the sour cream. Put the pie back in the oven for another 5 minutes, increasing the temperature to 200 ⁰С.
Step 10

Remove the finished pie from the oven, take it out of the pan and put it in a cool place.
Step 11

Serve the pie cold, cut into portions.
