Pears baked with honey
Fruit desserts are good in any season and for any occasion, but still, do not forget about seasonality. Pears baked with honey are great to cook in September, when both pears from the branch and honey have just been pumped out of the hives
How to cook Pears baked with honey
Step 1
Use a sharp knife to remove the orange zest from the orange. Squeeze out the juice. In a heat-resistant and refractory form, mix honey, all the butter, sugar, orange juice and 100-150 ml of drinking water until the honey and sugar are completely dissolved.
Step 2
Pears cut in half. Remove the core with a spoon. On the opposite side, cut off some pulp so that the pear is stable. Put in a mold along with the zest, cut into thick strips and cinnamon sticks. Warm up, 1 min. Remove from heat and cover the mold with foil.
Step 3
Transfer the mold to the oven and bake at 200°C for 25-30 minutes. Twice during the cooking time, remove the form from the oven, remove the foil and pour the pears with the honey mixture.
Step 4
Take the mold out of the oven. Divide the pears among bowls, drizzle with syrup and serve with whipped cream and mint leaves.
