How to cook Pear jam with white wine
Step 1
Peel the pears and cut into slices, put in a saucepan. Add sugar, pour in wine and place over medium heat. Bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and leave for 5-6 hours.
Step 2
Return the jam to the fire and cook after boiling for 30 minutes, until tender. Check the readiness of the syrup. If needed, cook for another 5-7 minutes.
Step 3
Cool the jam and arrange in sterilized jars.
