Belarusian cuisine is little known in our country. Alas. In its integrity, it is similar to Japanese, and in terms of deliciousness, it does not look like anything at all. In the field of soups, for example, Belarusians are famous for many things. In particular - a wonderful dish "krupenya".

Cooking

Step 1

Soak mushrooms for 3-4 hours, rinse, pour 3 liters of water again. Boil for 2–3 hours. Strain the broth, boil to a volume of 1 liter. Cut potatoes into cubes. Peel carrots and onions, chop and sauté over low heat.

Step 2

Boil barley and beans separately until half cooked. Squeeze and chop the mushrooms, bring the broth to a boil, put all the ingredients in it, cook until tender over low heat.

Step 3

For 3 min. season to the end and add bay leaf. Serve with sour cream (optional) and herbs.
