How to cook Italian meatballs in tomato sauce
Step 1
Finely chop garlic and onion. Fry for a few minutes over low heat in a pan.
Step 2
Parsley, basil are also finely chopped, mixed with garlic and onions and ground nuts.
Step 3
Add one egg, breadcrumbs to the minced meat, mix, and then add a mixture of greens with garlic and onions and form a homogeneous dough-like mass in a bowl. Put in the refrigerator for a while to let the mass rest a bit.
Step 4
Now let's prepare the sauce. To do this, cut the tomatoes into small pieces, put everything in a large frying pan, with a little olive oil, add the pureed tomatoes, balsamic vinegar and simmer it all over low heat, stirring occasionally.
Step 5
We get a mass for meatballs. We form medium-sized balls and put in a preheated pan with olive oil. Fry the meatballs for 10 minutes, turning over on different sides.
Step 6
Then we shift the meatballs into the sauce, also pour the meatballs on top with a spoon, cover with a lid and simmer for 15 minutes over low heat.
Step 7
After we cut the baguette, put the meatballs with sauce on the plates and sprinkle generously with grated parmesan on top. Enjoy your meal!
