Chocolate brownie with cherries
Chocolate brownie with cherries is a delicious dessert that will delight the true sweet tooth. The classic version of this confectionery miracle was born at the end of the 19th century in America, thanks to ... a woman's whim. The fact is that in 1893, a wealthy lady planning to visit the World's Columbian Exhibition asked the chef of a Chicago hotel to prepare a dessert that she could take with her as a pleasant snack. The task was accomplished brilliantly: a chocolate cake with an amazing dense juicy texture was born. Since then, this dessert, which was called “brownie” (from the English brown - “brown”) has been on the top list of the most popular American delicacies, second only to charlotte. At home, they like to cook his dishes with pecans or peanuts, but everyone who has tried it likes the variant with cherries, which goes perfectly with chocolate!
How to cook Chocolate brownie with cherries
Step 1

Prepare the brownie dough. Break up the chocolate and place in a fireproof bowl. Butter cut into cubes. Add to chocolate and melt everything together in a hot water bath. Let it cool down a bit.
Step 2

Beat the eggs with a mixer until fluffy. Combine with chocolate butter. Beat again. Add powdered sugar and vanilla sugar. Mix thoroughly.
Step 3

Sift flour for brownie dough together with baking powder through a fine sieve into a separate small bowl. Add to chocolate mixture and mix very well.
Step 4

Pour the cherries into a large bowl. Sprinkle with cornstarch and stir gently to distribute evenly over fruit. Add to chocolate batter. Stir again.
Step 5

Heat the oven to 180°C. Line a 20cm x 20cm rectangular tin with good parchment paper. It is better if it is siliconized: brownie will definitely not stick to such a dough.
Step 6

Pour the chocolate batter into the prepared pan and smooth out. Bake for about 30 minutes. Remember that inside the "correct" brownie should remain slightly moist.
Step 7

Remove the baked brownie base and let cool completely. Then wrap in foil and refrigerate for 1 hour. After that, coarsely chop and serve brownies on the table.
