Beef goulash in wine sauce
In this recipe, beef is lightly fried with bacon, then stewed in wine with vegetables. Mashed potatoes, rice, pasta or buckwheat are ideal as a side dish for this goulash. Don't forget to pour the resulting aromatic sauce over the portion.
How to cook Beef goulash in wine sauce
Step 1
Cut the bacon and steak into small cubes, do not mix them together. Heat the oil in a saucepan, put the bacon in it. Fry on low heat until the fat is released. Then add the chopped beef, increase the heat and fry for 5 minutes until a characteristic crust appears.
Step 2
Carefully remove the bacon and beef from the pan using a slotted spoon. In the same oil, add the onion and garlic, simmer over low heat, stirring constantly. Pour in the wine, add the herbs, and season to taste.
Step 3
Place the meat in the same pan, cover and simmer for 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally and adding water.
