Apple adjika

In winter, you especially want to add a piquant detail to the dish. Spicy fragrant adjika with apples will come in handy. Adjika can be added to soups and as a salad dressing, used as a marinade for meat and simply spread on bread. Hot pepper provides piquancy, and the apple gives the dish a unique taste of summer.
How to cook Apple adjika
Step 1

Place the jars and lids in the oven, turn the oven on to preheat to 120 ⁰C, then turn it off after 13–15 minutes.
Step 2

Cut the tomatoes into wedges.
Step 3

Remove the stem and seeds from the chili pepper and cut it into slices.
Step 4

Peel the apples, remove the seeds and cut into slices.
Step 5

Place the apples, chili peppers and tomatoes in a saucepan. Place the saucepan on the fire.
Step 6

Cook the adjika for 40 minutes until the tomatoes and apples are completely soft.
