Garlic soup
Ingredients
Servings 8 servings- 1 pinch dried thyme
- 150 g garlic
- 200 g white bread
- salt, cayenne pepper
- 1 pinch dried oregano
- olive oil - 3 tbsp. l.
- 1 l meat broth
- 100 g sweet pepper
- 50 g pitted olives

Step 1
1. Wash sweet pepper, cut in half, remove seeds and stem, cut into cubes. Peel the garlic and cut into thin circles. Cut olives into rings. 2. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan, put all the prepared vegetables and fry them for 2 minutes. Add dried thyme, salt, cayenne pepper, stir, pour in hot broth. Bring to a boil and cook over medium heat covered for 5-7 minutes. 3. Cut the bread into medium-sized cubes, put on a baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 200ºС. Bake the bread cubes in the oven for 5-7 minutes until they are golden brown. Season the finished croutons with salt and dried oregano. Serve the soup hot, serve croutons separately.
