Small appetizers and canapés always look advantageous on the festive table. And they are quick and easy to prepare.

How to cook Festive snacks

Step 1

Fried shrimp with pineapple. Peel large shrimp, cut along the back, remove the vein. Fry the shrimp in a pan with garlic and chili peppers. Thread onto skewers with pineapple chunks.

Step 2

Cucumber and feta canape. With a vegetable peeler, cut the peel from a long cucumber in strips. Cut the cucumber into slices 7–8 mm thick and top with feta, sun-dried tomatoes and basil.

Step 3

Canape with roast beef. Place thin slices of roast beef on toasted whole grain or rye bread. Drizzle with a mixture of sour cream and horseradish and garnish with a pickled cucumber.

Step 4

Cucumber rolls with turkey. Slice a long cucumber into thin slices. Brush with hummus, sprinkle with basil. Put the thinnest slices of smoked turkey (or ham) and roll into rolls, secure with a skewer.

Step 5

Roast beef rolls with persimmon. Thinly slice the roast beef. Mash blue cheese with a fork and mix with sour cream. Spread cheese on roast beef, put a slice of persimmon and roll up. Chop with a skewer and garnish with mint.

Step 6

Cheese balls. Mix 200 g soft goat cheese or feta with 1 tbsp. l. sour cream. Roll into walnut-sized balls and roll in chopped pistachios, chopped chives, black and light sesame seeds. Add slices of cooked ham and smoked salmon, cherry tomatoes and skewers.
