Small appetizers and canapés always look advantageous on the festive table. And they are quick and easy to prepare.
Fried shrimp with pineapple. Peel large shrimp, cut along the back, remove the vein. Fry the shrimp in a pan with garlic and chili peppers. Thread onto skewers with pineapple chunks.
Cucumber and feta canape. With a vegetable peeler, cut the peel from a long cucumber in strips. Cut the cucumber into slices 7–8 mm thick and top with feta, sun-dried tomatoes and basil.
Canape with roast beef. Place thin slices of roast beef on toasted whole grain or rye bread. Drizzle with a mixture of sour cream and horseradish and garnish with a pickled cucumber.
Cucumber rolls with turkey. Slice a long cucumber into thin slices. Brush with hummus, sprinkle with basil. Put the thinnest slices of smoked turkey (or ham) and roll into rolls, secure with a skewer.
Roast beef rolls with persimmon. Thinly slice the roast beef. Mash blue cheese with a fork and mix with sour cream. Spread cheese on roast beef, put a slice of persimmon and roll up. Chop with a skewer and garnish with mint.
Cheese balls. Mix 200 g soft goat cheese or feta with 1 tbsp. l. sour cream. Roll into walnut-sized balls and roll in chopped pistachios, chopped chives, black and light sesame seeds. Add slices of cooked ham and smoked salmon, cherry tomatoes and skewers.
