Shortbread with jam

How to cook Shortbread with jam
Step 1
Beat butter with sugar until fluffy. Add sifted flour and salt. Quickly knead into a smooth dough. Form a ball, wrap in cling film. Place in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2
Take the dough out of the refrigerator. Divide it into 10-12 parts, roll each into a ball. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Press each ball lightly on top with your hand and make a depression with your thumb, put a small piece of jam there.
Step 3
Bake in the oven at 180°C for 15-20 minutes, depending on size. Remove the tray from the oven and cool to room temperature. Transfer to a serving platter and sprinkle with almond flakes.
