Potato Cheese Balls
Potato and cheese balls can be both a beer snack and a full-fledged lunch for children. The recipe is based on simple ingredients: potatoes and cheese. This dish is especially suitable for picky eaters. Psychologists say that children enjoy eating food that can be picked up with their fingers and eaten without cutlery. These balls do not necessarily need to be deep-fried. They can simply be boiled.
How to cook Potato Cheese Balls
Step 1

Make mashed potatoes. Mash the cooked potatoes, add a piece of butter and an egg. Add salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
Step 2

Form balls. Cut the cheese into small cubes. Make a flat cake from a small amount of mashed potatoes and place a cube of cheese in the center. Form a ball, pinching all the edges around the cheese.
Step 3

Fry the balls. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan with high sides and heat it well. Roll the potato-cheese balls in flour and fry until they acquire a golden hue.
