
Make mashed potatoes. Mash the cooked potatoes, add a piece of butter and an egg. Add salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly.

Form balls. Cut the cheese into small cubes. Make a flat cake from a small amount of mashed potatoes and place a cube of cheese in the center. Form a ball, pinching all the edges around the cheese.

Fry the balls. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan with high sides and heat it well. Roll the potato-cheese balls in flour and fry until they acquire a golden hue.
