Classic meringues are easy to make because they only contain two ingredients: egg whites and sugar. If you're planning to have guests over, don't rush to buy a cake: impress them with this easy and incredibly delicious homemade dessert.

Combine the egg whites with the powdered sugar and beat them with a mixer until stiff peaks form.
