Lamb with potatoes in the oven
Lamb is one of the most popular types of meat on the planet. It is the basis for most dishes of Eastern cuisine. Lamb is an excellent source of protein. It is enriched with vitamins (PP and group B), as well as useful microelements, such as iron. Due to these properties, this meat is often used in therapeutic diets for the prevention of iron deficiency anemia. How to cook Lamb with potatoes in the oven
Step 1

Cut the lamb into medium-sized pieces. Cut the potatoes into large pieces. Cut the lemon into slices. Cut the garlic cloves in half and chop the herbs.
Step 2

In a separate bowl, mix Provencal herbs, bay leaf and spices.
Step 3

Take a deep plate, mix all the ingredients in it and add seasonings. Leave to marinate for 10-15 minutes.
Step 4

Take a baking dish, grease it with vegetable oil and put the mixture of ingredients in it. Put potatoes and onions on the bottom, and put meat and lemon wedges on top.
Step 5

Cover the top of the form with foil and place in the oven preheated to 180C for 40-45 minutes.
Step 6

Carefully remove the dish from the oven, check the meat for doneness. Leave it at room temperature for 5 minutes. Now you can serve it!
