How to cook Green salad with walnuts
Step 1
Lightly heat 3 tbsp. l. vegetable oil. Add the garam masala seasoning mixture and a pinch of salt. Stir. Continue to heat the pan until a pronounced smell of spices appears - about 30 seconds.
Step 2
Remove skillet from heat. Add walnuts, mix them with spicy oil. Once the nuts have cooled, remove them from the pan to a paper towel to drain excess oil.
Step 3
Peel the red onion, chop very finely. Put in a bowl, add orange juice, salt and pepper to taste. Beat the mixture with a whisk. Then, without stopping whisking, add the walnut oil and the remaining vegetable oil.
Step 4
Rinse the lettuce thoroughly, pat dry and chop coarsely. Put into a large bowl. Pour the dressing over the salad and mix well.
Step 5
Divide among plates and top with walnuts. This salad should be served immediately.
