Cupcake with a heart inside
Imagine: a romantic evening, candles, romance, you serve a cupcake, cut off a piece to your beloved (or beloved), and there ...
How to cook Cupcake with a heart inside
Step 1
In fact, for cooking, you will need to bake 2 identical cupcakes in a certain sequence. First, the “inner” pink biscuit cake is baked, and then the “main cake”.
Step 2
To prepare the biscuit dough, separate the whites from the yolks. Whip egg whites to firm peaks. Beat the yolks together with sugar and add half of the sifted flour. Gently fold the egg yolk mixture into the egg whites, stir and sift in the other half of the flour. Knead a smooth dough and divide it into 2 parts.
Step 3
Add pink or red dye to the first part. Grease a tall dish with a little butter and transfer the colored dough there. Bake the cake at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
Step 4
Let the cake cool down and then take it out of the mold. Cut the cake into serving pieces. Take a heart shape and cut one out of each piece.
Step 5
It's time to "collect" the cupcake. Re-line the pan with parchment paper and brush it again with a little butter. Pour about 1/3 of the remaining, uncolored dough into the pan. Carefully, in a row, put the hearts cut out of the dough. Carefully spread the remaining dough so that it completely covers the hearts. Lightly tap on the shape so that there are no voids left (you don’t need to tap hard, otherwise the hearts will change position).
Step 6
Bake the cake at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked. Let the cake cool down and then take it out of the mold. Prepare the glaze: for this, melt the chocolate and butter in a water bath. Pour glaze over cake, let it harden a bit and serve.
