Cod with carrots

Cod dishes are especially healthy if cooked with vegetables. Braised cod in a frying pan is a good way to preserve all the beneficial properties of the fish. Cod meat is dietary, it contains a lot of protein, it is rich in vitamins B12, D, carotene and omega-3 acids. Cod fillet improves health and is great for children. You can cook cod with onions and carrots in a frying pan quickly and easily using this recipe.
How to cook Cod with carrots
Step 1

Marinate the fish. Cut the cod fillet into pieces, add salt and pepper. Grease with vegetable oil, leave to marinate for 15 minutes.
Step 2

While the fish is marinating, fry the vegetables. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil. Fry the onion until golden brown for 1-2 minutes, add the carrots. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until half-ready. Don't forget to stir. Add the tomato, simmer for another 5 minutes. Place the fish pieces on the vegetables, cover with a lid and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes.
