Carrot waffles with pears

Cookinero 30 Jan 2023

With golden waffles, many of us first met at the dawn of a foggy youth, with pleasure eating ice cream in a waffle cup. Now we have grown up and are able to bake waffles on our own.

How to cook Carrot waffles with pears

Step 1

Peel and grate the ginger on a fine grater. Put in a saucepan, add lemon juice and honey and heat while stirring.

Step 2

Wash the pears, cut into 4 parts, peel and remove the core with seeds. Place pear slices in ginger syrup and cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Remove without pouring out the syrup and refrigerate.

Step 3

Beat butter with sugar until thick foam, gradually, one at a time, adding eggs. Clove buds grind, sift and add to the egg mass. Then pour in oatmeal mixed with nuts and flour, pour in carrot juice. Mix well and let the dough rest for 30 minutes.

Step 4

Peel the carrots, grate on a fine grater and add to the finished dough. Bake waffles and serve them with pears and drizzle with ginger syrup.
