Breaded Chicken Nuggets

Breaded chicken nuggets are pieces of breaded chicken fillet fried in a large amount of vegetable oil. Back in the 19th century, during the California Gold Rush, the recipe for the first nuggets appeared. And later it was transformed into the chicken fillet we know today - in an ideal, strong and very crispy crust. Like any chicken dish, making nuggets at home is quick and easy. They can be served as an appetizer with sauce or with a side dish of vegetable salad.
How to cook Breaded Chicken Nuggets
Step 1

Prepare the breading for the nuggets in breadcrumbs. Break the eggs into a bowl, add salt and pepper, mix thoroughly. Pour flour into a second plate. Fill the third with breadcrumbs.
Step 2

Prepare the chicken for frying. Dredge the fillet pieces in flour. Then dip them in the egg mixture and coat in breadcrumbs.
Step 3

Fry the nuggets. Melt the butter in a deep frying pan. Place the breaded chicken pieces in the pan. Fry the fillet slices on both sides until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes on each side.
Step 4

Remove excess fat and oil. Place the finished nuggets in breadcrumbs on a paper towel and let the excess fat drain.
