Beef Lagman
There are many reasons to love this dish. Beef lagman is rich, tasty and very filling. One serving can easily feed several hungry people! To make classic lagman at home, you need to cook the noodles. But if you want to do it faster, store-bought will do, the main thing is not to tell anyone that you did not cook them :)
How to cook Beef Lagman
Step 1
Prepare the noodles: salt the flour and, adding water, knead the noodle dough. Cover it with a towel and leave for 120 minutes.
Step 2
Sprinkle the dough with flour and roll it into a circle 0.5 cm thick. Then cut the dough into strips (6-8 pieces or more), grease with oil and leave for 10 minutes.
Step 3
Roll the dough strips into thin sausages, stretch, fold in half and stretch again until you get thin threads of dough.
Step 4
Cook long noodles in 2.5 liters of boiling salted water until done (2-3 minutes). Drain and rinse. If using ready-made noodles, cook them according to the instructions on the package.
Step 5

Prepare the base: fry the meat in heated vegetable oil until all the juice has evaporated.
Step 6

Add onion, carrot, garlic to the meat and fry everything together for 7-8 minutes. Put in pepper, tomatoes, salt and pepper. Simmer under the lid until the meat is ready (40-50 minutes).
Step 7

Heat the noodles and serve with meat and vegetables, sprinkled with herbs.
