Mango sherbet
Ingredients
Servings 4- 2 medium mangoes
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ glass of water
- 1 st. l. lime juice
Cooking
Step 1
Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan, bring to a boil and cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes. Remove from fire and cool.
Step 2
Peel the mango and cut the flesh from the pit. Grind the mango into a puree. Mix puree, lime juice and sugar syrup.
Step 3
Pour the mixture into a container and refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Every 30 minutes. Take the container out of the refrigerator and stir the mixture with a whisk.
