Zucchini casserole with light sauce

The most delicious zucchini casserole is with cheese. This casserole recipe uses a dietary filling based on natural yogurt and low-calorie cheese. Dietary cheeses include the well-known varieties "Chechil", "Gaudette", "Adygei". Choose fresh and young zucchini for the recipe. The vegetable should be of medium length (no more than 20 cm). The weight usually does not exceed 250-350 g. Too large a size indicates that the zucchini is overripe. You should not eat such fruits.
How to cook Zucchini casserole with light sauce
Step 1

Start preparing the dough for the zucchini casserole. Place the well-squeezed zucchini in a bowl. Add the greens and sour cream. Crumble the feta cheese and beat in the eggs. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly. Season with pepper, add flour and mix again. The mixture should be thick. Since the cheese is salty, there is no need to add salt to the casserole itself.
Step 2

Place the zucchini casserole in the oven. Grease the pan with vegetable oil. Spread the zucchini mixture, level the surface. Place the zucchini casserole in the oven for 30-40 minutes at 180 degrees until golden brown.
Step 3

Prepare the sauce. Add garlic, salt and chopped dill to the Greek yogurt. Mix everything together and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
