Step-by-Step Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients. Wash the zucchini and cut in half lengthwise. With a spoon, carefully remove some of the pulp from the middle, so that the walls are about 1 cm thick.
Step 2
Pass the chicken (pork, beef) through a meat grinder with a frequent grate. Grind the pulp that you cut from the middle of the zucchini. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Wash the tomatoes and cut into very small cubes.
Step 3
Melt the butter in the skillet. Put the onion with garlic and, stirring, brown for 5 minutes over low heat. Add the resulting minced meat. Increase the heat and fry, breaking up lumps with a spatula, until the color changes.
Step 4
Put chopped zucchini and tomatoes in a pan with minced meat. Cook, stirring, over medium heat for 10 minutes. Season with cumin, salt and pepper to taste.
Step 5
Heat the oven to 190°C. Lay the zucchini halves on a baking sheet or in a dish. Divide the prepared minced meat filling with the vegetables. Flatten with the back of a spoon.
Step 6
Grate the cheese on a medium grater. Sprinkle zucchini with minced meat. Bake in the oven for about 20-30 minutes until golden brown on top. Serve hot on the table. You can sprinkle with chopped herbs.
