Rum baba with candied fruit
Description
There is no alcohol in this rum baba recipe, so you can safely treat all guests, including the smallest ones, with such cupcakes.
Cooking
Step 1
Warm milk, combine with 1 tbsp. l. flour, sugar, yeast. Put in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Whisk the eggs. Melt the butter. Mix the risen dough with the remaining flour, eggs, salt, zest and vanilla sugar. Knead the dough.
Step 3
At the end, pour in the oil, add candied fruits, raisins, chopped figs. Stir again, put in a warm place for 1 hour.
Step 4
With the finished dough, fill the baking molds to 1/3 of the volume. Set aside for 30-45 minutes.
Step 5
Bake the risen dough for 15 minutes at 180˚C. Boil syrup from sugar and 100 ml of water. Boil the soaked figs in syrup for 10-15 minutes. Moisten rum women. Next to the rum-baba put the figs from the syrup.
