Potato casserole with cheese and mayonnaise is a great carbohydrate dish that can be either a standalone dish or a complement to your dinner. It is very easy to prepare: mix everything, bake - and it's ready! The potatoes are soft, and the cheese and mayonnaise crust is crispy and aromatic.

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, finely chop the garlic.

Place the potatoes in a deep bowl, add half of the grated cheese, one egg, garlic and mayonnaise.
