Pancake roll
The recipe for pancakes in Russian cuisine is considered one of the oldest. According to some sources, the history of this dish begins in pagan times in Rus'. Then, of course, they did not use frying pans, but hot stones to prepare them. By the way, there were pancakes in Ancient Greece. Only there they were called "tagenitas".
How to cook Pancake roll
Step 1

Make the pancakes. In a bowl, combine milk, cocoa, baking powder, eggs, flour, and sugar. Mix until smooth. Heat a small amount of vegetable oil in a frying pan. Fry the pancakes.
Step 2

Cook the cream. Pour milk into a saucepan, add yolks, starch and sugar. Stir. Put the container on low heat and, stirring constantly, bring to thickening. Leave the cream to cool to room temperature.
Step 3

Assemble the pancake roll. Spread out cling film. Lay out several pancakes (2-3 pcs.) overlapping each other. Grease them with cream and roll them up. Refrigerate for 120 minutes
