Meat zrazy with onions
Zrazy are meat cutlets or rolls with some kind of filling, such as mushrooms, cheese, potatoes or onions. The dish is traditional for Belarusian, Ukrainian, Lithuanian and Polish cuisines.
How to cook Meat zrazy with onions
Step 1

Cut the meat into medium sized pieces.
Step 2

Chop the onion.
Step 3

Put the meat through a meat grinder.
Step 4

Add salt, pepper, chicken egg to the minced meat and knead the minced meat.
Step 5

Fry the chopped onion until golden brown in a preheated frying pan with vegetable oil for 2-3 minutes.
Step 6

Carefully form patties from the minced meat.
Step 7

Place the fried onion filling on top of the minced meat.
Step 8

Carefully form the cutlets.
Step 9

Place the cutlets in a preheated frying pan with some vegetable oil.
Step 10

Fry the cutlets until done, 7-8 minutes on each side.
Step 11

If necessary, remove excess oil from the pan with a paper towel. Place the finished zrazy on portioned plates and garnish with chopped dill. Enjoy!
