Festive Chicken Roll with Fruit
Asian cuisine is famous for its unusual flavor solutions. In this festive chicken and fruit roll, the sweetness of canned peach, pear, and pineapple is combined with the light spiciness of chili sauce. It turns out to be a delicious combination of familiar products.
How to cook Festive Chicken Roll with Fruit
Step 1
Cut the fruit into slices or wedges. Brush the chicken with oil, sprinkle with salt to taste and lay out the slices of canned fruit. Roll up and tie with thick thread or twine. Coat the finished roll with sweet chili.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 180 ℃. Place the chicken roll on a baking sheet and bake for 60 minutes. Turn the roll over periodically and baste with the resulting juice.
Step 3
Take the roll out of the oven, remove it from the baking tray and let it cool. Then weigh down the chicken (for example, put it in a frying pan, cover it with a flat lid and put a pot of water on top) and put it in a cool place for 6 hours. After 6 hours, take the roll out, remove the threads and cut into portions.
