Cherry sangria
There is no better drink for a summer party than sangria. Light, fragrant, infused with fruit, it will please with its taste and allow you to save a little, because one bottle of wine is enough for 8-10 servings.
Ingredients
Servings 8-10- 1 bottle of red wine
- 4 glasses of orange juice
- 2 cups pitted cherries
- 180 ml cherry syrup (you can use jam)
- 100 ml orange liqueur, such as Cointreau or Triple Sec (optional)
- ice
- orange slices
Cooking
Step 1
In a large pitcher, combine wine, orange juice, cherry syrup and orange liqueur. Add cherries and refrigerate for 4-24 hours.
Step 2
Before serving, add ice and orange slices to a pitcher.
Step 3
To make non-alcoholic sangria, instead of wine, use cherry juice and do not use liquor.
