Styrian apple pie
In the apple season, you can fully enjoy baking with apples in different versions. Here is one of them - such an apple pie will gather a large family on a September evening for long conversations and a cup of aromatic tea.
How to cook Styrian apple pie
Step 1
Sift flour with baking powder, add sugar, butter, salt, milk and knead the dough. Cover the dough and place in the refrigerator to rest for 1 hour.

Peel the apples, remove the core and chop coarsely. Add lemon juice, grated lemon zest, sugar, cinnamon, hazelnuts and raisins to the apples. To stir thoroughly.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Take out the dough, leave part of the dough for decoration with stripes. Roll out the main part of the dough, transfer to a baking sheet, greased with oil. Spread the apple filling on top. Roll out the remaining dough and cut into strips with a pastry cutter. Put the strips on top of the apple filling in the form of a lattice.
Step 4
Bake the cake for 30 minutes on a medium level. At the finished pie, grease the grate with hot marmalade. From the sifted icing sugar and lemon juice, make a fondant and grease the cake with it.
