Pork Chops with Apple Sauce

Description

Pork is a heavy product, so it is best served with something light. For example, with apple sauce - both tasty and healthy.

Cooking

Step 1

For the sauce, pour boiling water over the raisins, dry them, pour over white wine and leave for 15 minutes.

Step 2

Peel and cut the apples into medium cubes, sprinkle with lemon juice so that the flesh does not darken. Finely chop the cilantro.

Step 3

Crush the garlic, peel and mince. Sauté garlic in butter for 30 seconds. Put the apples, fry over high heat, stirring, 2 minutes.

Step 4

Add raisins along with liquid and all other ingredients (except pork), cook over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes. Apples should not completely lose their shape. Cool the sauce and refrigerate.

Step 5

Trim excess fat from pork chops, leaving a little. Rub the chops with salt and pepper. Put the cut fat into a grill pan and place over medium heat - while the pan heats up, a little fat will melt. Remove the fat from the pan and place the chops in it.

Step 6

After a couple of minutes, cover the chops with a piece of foil so that the fat does not splatter (but not too tight). Fry the chops until golden brown on both sides, turning over a couple of times. Don't overdry! Serve chops with sauce.
