Meatballs in a ham crust

sacrificial children. Even the most notorious privy will not be able to refuse them.

Cooking

Step 1

Peel potatoes, wash, cut in half. Boil 15-20 min. in boiling salted water. Drain the water, dry the potatoes.

Step 2

Meanwhile, wash the thyme and chop finely. Mix minced meat with breadcrumbs, cottage cheese and thyme, season with salt and pepper. Form two sausages from a mixture of minced meat with cottage cheese and thyme, wrap them with slices of ham, secure with skewers or toothpicks.

Step 3

Heat the oil in a frying pan, fry the meatballs in the ham on all sides for 10 minutes. Take out and keep warm. Wash tomatoes, chop coarsely.

Step 4

Fry, stirring, 2 minutes. in the same pan where the meatballs were fried. Season with salt and pepper. Put the meatballs on a plate, garnish with potatoes, tomatoes and capers.

tomato - 2 pcs
20 g of capers
cottage cheese - low-fat, 1 tbsp. l.
olive oil - 2 tbsp.
1 sprig fresh thyme
125 g mixed minced meat (beef and pork)
1 tsp capers
200 g potatoes
1 st. l. breadcrumbs
2 slices of ham
