Lenten spring sandwich

How to cook Lenten spring sandwich

Step 1

Lightly toast the bread in a toaster or dry it in a frying pan without oil.

Step 2

Cut pickled cucumber into thin strips and put on bread.

Step 3

Bulgarian pepper (preferably pre-baked in the oven) cut into strips and put on top of the cucumber.

Step 4

Top with a fresh tomato, cut into very thin circles (2-3 circles).

Step 5

Put canned fried eggplants on top.

Step 6

Top with a couple of leaves of Chinese cabbage, garnish with herbs or lettuce. Drizzle with a little olive oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
