And you certainly won’t add artificial dyes, stabilizers and other “chemistry”! Secondly, homemade oatmeal cookies are very tasty and fragrant - due to butter and honey. Yes, and the process of preparing such pastries is very pleasant, almost meditative, so you will begin to enjoy long before you bite off the first piece.

How to cook Homemade oatmeal cookies

Step 1

Prepare cookie dough. Wash the dried apricots and finely chop. Cut the butter into cubes and place in a saucepan. Put on medium heat. Add sugar and honey. Keep on fire, stirring until the mixture is smooth.

Step 2

Sift flour with soda through a fine sieve into a bowl. In a saucepan with the butter-honey mixture, add the oatmeal, flour mixture and pour in the water. Stir quickly.

Step 3

Beat in an egg. Stir with a spatula. Add the chopped dried apricots and knead the oatmeal cookie dough thoroughly. The consistency should not be too hard.

Step 4

With wet hands, divide the dough into 18 balls and flatten them. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking parchment. Bake for 15 minutes at 180°C. Let the finished oatmeal cookies cool on a baking sheet.
