How to cook Cottage cheese pies with fruits

Step 1

1. Peel and cut oranges into slices. Remove grains. Wash the apples, cut into 4 parts, remove the core. Cut apples into thick slices, sprinkle with lemon juice. * For this recipe, we took a variety of red oranges that has recently appeared in our stores. They have a spicier flavor and a very intense red color. But you can also use regular oranges. 2. Grind cottage cheese with sour cream, salt and sugar. Add eggs and baking powder. * The amount of sugar in the dough can be increased or, conversely, reduced as desired. 3. Sift flour into a bowl with cottage cheese. Knead into a smooth, elastic dough. 4. On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a layer about 0.5 cm thick. Using a glass, cut circles out of it. 5. Put an orange slice on half of the circles, and an apple slice on the remaining ones. Sprinkle fruit with sugar. 6. Beat the eggs lightly. Lubricate the edges of the circles. Fold the circles in half so that the top part does not reach the edge of the bottom by 0.4 mm. Preheat oven to 180°C. Sprinkle the baking sheet generously with flour. Put the pies, grease them with the remaining egg. Bake 25 min.

TIP * Cottage cheese dough turns out to be very soft and tender, so it must be rolled out carefully, be sure to sprinkle with flour. * Instead of fresh fruit, you can put canned pears, peaches or apricots in pies. To do this, they must be thrown into a colander, allowed to drain all the syrup and then dried a little in the microwave, 1 min.
