Carrot, Cucumbers, Radish

Moroccan carrot, cucumber and radish salad

Moroccans love cinnamon. They even cook a chicken pie with her. Here, a pinch of cinnamon makes a salad of radishes, cucumbers and carrots special and memorable.

Ingredients

Servings 4 servings
  • 4 carrots
  • 1 cucumber
  • 10 pieces. radish
  • salt
  • 0.5 tsp powdered sugar
  • 2 sprigs of cilantro
  • 0.5 red hot pepper
  • cover
  • 4 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Cooking

Step 1

Peel the carrots, grate on a coarse grater. Wash the radishes, cut into thin slices. Wash the cucumber, cut into strips.

Step 2

Put the vegetables in a colander, sprinkle with salt and leave for 30 minutes to drain the liquid.

Step 3

Wash the red pepper, remove the core, chop. Wash cilantro, dry. Mix pepper, cilantro, cinnamon and powdered sugar. Add olive oil and lemon juice. Mix carrots, radish and cucumber in a salad bowl. Add a dressing.
