Walnuts, Pear, Lemon, Dates, Arugula

Italian salad with pear and parmesan

Ingredients

Servings 6 servings
  • 100 g parmesan or pecorino cheese
  • 0.25 lemon
  • 1 bunch watercress
  • 300 g arugula
  • sherry vinegar - 1 tsp. l.
  • 0.5 cup unrefined olive oil
  • 12 dates
  • 12 walnut halves
  • 2 very ripe pears

Cooking

Step 1

Mix watercress with arugula, arrange on plates. Pears cut into thin slices, sprinkle with lemon juice (so as not to darken), put on top of the leaves.

Step 2

Stuff each date with half a walnut and put 2 pieces on a plate. Mix the olive oil with the vinegar and pour this dressing over the salad.

Step 3

Slice the cheese very thinly (you can use a paring knife for this) and sprinkle on top.
