Chahokhbili

Although chakhokhbili is a recipe for sunny Georgian cuisine, it is an excellent dish for a Russian winter dinner table. And tasty, and satisfying, and not barbecue :)
How to cook Chahokhbili
Step 1
Basis: Rinse the chicken carcass (or individual parts: thighs, breast), dry with a paper towel. Cut into fairly large portions. Leave.
Step 2
In a deep saucepan or frying pan in oil (olive or sunflower), fry the chicken pieces until golden brown.
Step 3
Homemade tomato sauce: Pour boiling water over the tomatoes, remove the skin. Grind to a puree in a blender. Add onion and garlic, finely chopped, a spoon or two of olive oil and chili pepper to the bowl. Mix thoroughly, add greens. If it seems that the sauce is watery - add 1 tsp. starch diluted in water.
Step 4
To the chicken, when it becomes golden in color, add the chopped onion and garlic, fry lightly. Pour the mass with homemade tomato sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste. Simmer covered with spices for about 40 minutes.
Step 5
For 5 min. until ready to add 1 tbsp. l. vinegar.
Step 6
Decorate the finished dish with herbs, cilantro, dill, serve.
Step 7
Enjoy your meal!
