How to cook Bulgarian mackerel with wine sauce

Step 1

Rinse the fish, cut into portions. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes, peel and cut into circles. Clean the mushrooms and cut into thin slices. Peel and grate the onion on a coarse grater.

Step 2

Lemon cut into slices. Rinse greens, dry and finely chop.

Step 3

Preheat the oven to 170ºС. Grease a baking sheet with 10 g of butter. Lay the fish pieces on a baking sheet. Cut the remaining butter into pieces and add to the pan with the fish. Pour in wine.

Step 4

Put slices of mushrooms, mugs of tomatoes and slices of lemon on top of the fish. Salt, pepper. Cover with foil and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes.

Step 5

Sprinkle with grated onion and chopped herbs before serving.
