Bell peppers are not uncommon on store shelves. They can be bought at any time of the year. However, we know very well that winter vegetables cannot be compared in taste with those grown in the summer. Therefore, many people prepare bell pepper salads in the fall to enjoy the rich taste of vegetables in the cold season. Such a preparation is an excellent snack for the whole family, which will help diversify the winter menu.
How to cook Bell pepper salad for the winter
Step 1

Sterilize the jar and lid in the oven. To do this, place the jar in a cold oven and set the temperature to 100-110 °C. Keep the jars inside for about 20 minutes. The sterilization time does not depend on their volume. You can also sterilize the jars using a microwave, multicooker, saucepan or kettle.
Step 2

While the jar is sterilizing, prepare the remaining ingredients. Cut the tomatoes into circles.
Step 3

Remove the core and seeds from the bell pepper and cut it into rings.
Step 4

Peel the onion and cut it into rings. Finely chop the garlic.
Step 5

Place the chopped vegetables in a saucepan, cover with a little water and add all the remaining ingredients.
Step 6

Cook the vegetables until done for 20-30 minutes. Then transfer the salad to a jar.
Step 7

Close the jar with a sterile lid and seal it tightly. Turn the twisted jar with the salad upside down, wrap it in something warm and leave it like this until it cools completely.
