Moussaka with broccoli

Ingredients

Servings 4 servings
  • 600 g potatoes
  • onion - 1 onion
  • tomato - 2 pcs
  • 1 st. l. chopped greens mix
  • 250 ml cream with 20% fat
  • 50 g melted cheese
  • 500 g mixed minced meat (pork and beef)
  • 1 pinch of grated nutmeg
  • 5th century l. milk
  • 2 tbsp. l. tomato paste
  • 100 ml beef broth
  • For sauce:
  • 1 h. l. green oregano
  • butter - 2 tbsp.
  • 600 g broccoli
  • grated parmesan cheese - 50 g grated
  • pureed tomatoes PODRAVKA - to taste

Cooking

Step 1

Peel potatoes, cut into large slices, boil in salted boiling water for 20 minutes. Drain the water, mash the potatoes with a potato masher. Warm milk, add 1 tbsp. l. butter, stir, pour into potatoes, mix thoroughly.

Step 2

Peel the broccoli, rinse, divide into inflorescences, blanch in boiling salted water for 5 minutes. Drain the water, pat dry the broccoli. Heat the remaining oil in a frying pan, fry the minced meat over high heat (5 minutes).

Step 3

Peel the onion, cut into cubes, add to the minced meat along with the tomato paste, mix. Pour in the broth and cook for 5 minutes. on low fire. Season with salt, pepper and oregano. Wash the tomatoes, cut into circles. Put minced meat and chopped tomatoes in the center of a greased refractory form, place broccoli around.

Step 4

Place the potato mass in a pastry bag with a curly tip and squeeze the potato roses onto the stuffing. Heat the cream, melt the melted cheese in them, add chopped herbs, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.

Step 5

Preheat the oven to 200ºС. Pour sauce over moussaka, sprinkle with parmesan and bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
